Are these actually profitable? I always see people talking about them but they just seem underpowered. Its a personal opinion thing really. I enjoy it - make some Bitcoins - and plan on expanding my setup in the future. Yeah the S1 is great value for money if your looking to make a larger investment.
But I think I had to compile cgminer and configure it to include bmsc. Also, I did try to push the U3 voltage and frequency higher by playing with the settings as detailed in the U3 manual.
Raspberry, I could never get the U3 to run stably at settings any higher than what I gave above. Test cgminer is working correctly by running the following input your own pool, username and password:. Remember, Ctrl-X to exit, then type Y and press Enter to save changes. Help me out with compiling a list of mining datacenters! As armedmilitia said you antminer try running only the U3 to see if something changes. For the frequency in Minera, you can always use the extra command field or the total manual command field putting there the right options to change the device frequency.
